It's guys in their 40's who live to spam web forums who keep the name alive? Maybe it's just not worth bothering then?

Mods, is he receiving a "warning" for using age as an argument? As a FYI, Bonham issued me a "warning" yesterday and raised my warning level (yes, I'm serious) when I pointed out that Conor wasn't even alive when AFD was released. :rofl-lol:

thats because youre an idiot and no one likes you.

I quite like BBA and find him amusing at times. He does not display any of the ignorance, bigotry, idiocy or outright inanity that is shared by many on this forum.

You'll have to forgive me, I've no idea what that face means.

In February 2011 Thal logged onto the fan forum of the Guns N' Roses fansite MyGNR.com to complain about bandmate DJ Ashba and insult fans of Guns N' Roses.

When asked about the current state of the band and his motivation to come online, Thal stuck to vague answers only and instead went on with his rants towards the fans and bandmembers.

The actual conversation (Thal posted more than 50 messages to the Guns N' Roses fans in one night) though documented was taken offline shortly after by request of the band to censor their fans from actual discussion about the incident and not further hurt the public image of the band.

I was there when that happened. I don't recall him bitchino about DJ. He came on because some south american poster noob posted shit from private PM's wish Ron. Bba and other posters were total douchebags to ron and it spiraled from there. It fucking sucked because of bb a and those idiots

I downloaded the Bumblefoot remix of the 2001 song "Silkworms",

that sounds alot like Slash's ABSURD version of "Silkworms"

And somehow Slash, Duff, and Dizzy got credit for writing the entire song,

even though 2 of them were not even in the band when it was written.🤔

Did Slash n Duff time travel with Dizzy back to the late 90s, and write "Silkworms" before the Chin Dem band had a chance to?:o

Sci-Fi GN'R is The Future

EP 1: "Travel Time for the Cash"

How come Bumblefoot don't come back to the forums to talk about this? :giggles:

Ron bites back at the rumours:-

OK, here's the deal with all the GNR rumors. Some trolls tried to get attention by starting rumors, as they had seen others get. I called a few out on it personally, smacked 'em down and their panties are still all bunched up over it, so they've been going to different GNR fansites, they create an account with an IP scrambler, post these fake stories, and then disappear. They're 1) trying to get me back for bruising their ego, 2) they're trying to mindfuck the *real* GNR fans and make them lose faith in the band and bandmembers they've gotten to know over the years, 3) they saw someone else get a lot of attention in a similar scenario recently, and want some attention themselves, from fans, and from me.

All they want to do is hurt the fans and the band. All the credible GNR fansites see it and have been deleting the silly posts by their own choice. Don't buy into it. Don't stand for it. And don't believe a WORD of it. If the people spreading this would like to come forward and show who they are, I'd be happy to bring them into a courtroom with a libel suit, and if they can prove their statements to be true I'll cover all costs and whatever else. But that wouldn't happen because every word of it is made up and that's why they don't stick around and remain in hiding.

To any news sites that spread the rumors without fact-checking, that'll post anything any sociopath makes up and give it a platform, you need to do better.

To sum it up, I have a life, you have a life, these particular trolls don't - they're just trying to tear us both down, because they're bitter.

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke) Don't give these people power, and don't do nothing. Find out who they are, and hold them personally accountable for fucking with you and the band.

OK, back to making music, loving my band, my family, the fans, and looking forward to seeing you all as soon as possible. :)

Ron

That was a nice Bumble post even though he fucked off 3 years later lol

As far as I can tell, he become somewhat famous and started supergroups with other has been's. He even played with Weiland, right? (i'm sure that was a jab from Weilands parts lol, playing Slash then playing with his replacement years later lol)

Good for him

His guitar tone or his playing will never be distinguishable though (a thing which differentiate a great guitar player from a bedroom youtube shredder)

Gotta be honest - I was sooooooo beyond pissed I had to walk off, have a chat with management and folks about right and wrong and what I can and can't be a part of, and sat out a few songs until I cooled down before the anger really got the best of me. It's not just an 'audience' - everyone's got a story why they're there that night, the tickets aren't cheap, people traveled from far, they deserve not just a show but a show of appreciation and respect. Fashionably late is one thing, but leaving the audience with nothing out in the cold for 2 hours til they're throwing bottles and boo and chant bullshit isn't cool, isn't 'rock n roll', there's nothing good about it, it's just abusive. If there was a technical problem, someone should have told the crowd, and we should have had something going on video-wise or performance-wise to keep everyone's spirits up. My two cents.

I start to have some (late) respects for this guy...

Still, he ate that shit for his paycheck though
