Do you think he will play Estranged?

of course not. Only the genius of Bumblebeef could bring up such a song to any concert. We should be grateful to him, to his fans, and POC for bringing estranged to the masses. Thank you Ron Thal for letting us know of this song. You are superawesome, like your fans. You cured cancer!

-Aerosmith tour will be a "BIG SUMMER TOUR"

I love Aerosmith and they always put on an amazing show but they haven't released a new album of original material in close to 10years. Many of us criticize Axl for not releasing new music and touring the same setlist with NuGun but Aerosmith has been on the ultimate cash grab tour for the last 10 years...........And their ticket prices have been obscene on the recent tours...this is one band which needs some new music............

As much as I love Steven Tyler, Aerosmith hasn't done anything noteworthy since their Super Bowl performance with Britney Spears. I heard somewhere that they made more money from Guitar Hero than they did from any of their albums. :cashgrab:

that sounds more like bad management, I could see them barely getting a penny for royalties from their 70s stuff just based on how many bands have been royally ripped off from that era (Queen, Sabbath, etc.)

No actually their Manager was able to renegotiate the bands contract to give them the rights to the master recordings by convincing Columbia that Aerosmith would be a bunch of has-beens in 20 years anyway, so why didn't they let the masters revert to them ? Columbia agreed and Aerosmith got their masters from 1973-1982 back in the 90's. It's in the Walk This Way bio so they must make some nice coin off of all those old records.........

At least with Aerosmith you get to see the real deal. With NU-Guns you only see a cover-band backing up an out-of-breath Axl Rose singing "their" greatest hits.

Yeah but they are Aerosmith has been on a greatest hits tour for close to 10 years now...time for some new music.........

I agree, but they are the guys that produced timeless classics and the people will always want to see them perform. They are legends. Indeed time for some new music. Although Aerosmith's previous recent work sucked badly.

My only point was that Axl's Nu-Guns are much worse in that respect as we have lack of new music , and lack of legends.

I don't disagree Kostabi........I just got my new Classic Rock magazine and there is an article bout Aerosmith working on their new album which should be ready this spring so hopefully it will more balls and less ballads..........

Muhammad Ali’s 70th birthday celebration from Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena

Slash will be performing at the 16th annual Power of Love Gala put on by Bill Edwards Presents Inc. and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 18 in celebration of the life and legacy of “The Greatest™,” Muhammad Ali, while raising funds in support of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health and the Muhammad Ali Center.

Ok kids, it's official....I won't be joining the Slash tour this year. All the best to those guys! I'll have some exciting things coming later this year...and if anyone needs a git picker or a bass player lemme know! CHEERS!

Bobby Schneck

Myles plays rhythm guitar on the album, so I imagine he'll do so as well on the upcoming tour.

Ther's no need for 3 guitar players

To bad as I thought Bobby did a nice job complementing Slash last tour......hope they get someone to play rythym

even though Myles is more than capable, I do, too. I actually enjoy seeing Myles just be a frontman on Slash's tour. I was thinking that Bobby would be around and Myles would just play guitar on any of the stuff they play from the last tour that he already played on (ie Nothing to Say, Rise Today) and the stuff from the album their recording now that he's playing rhythm on. seeing as that Bobby has confirmed he's not playing I'm not sure what's going on, but I'd like to see Myles mostly be just a frontman. it gives it all that more of a different vibe from Alter Bridge, imho.

Thanks to Robert of gnronline

As he puts the finishing touches on his as-yet-untitled second solo album due out May 22, Slash — the iconic, Grammy-winning rock guitarist and songwriter — has announced that his headlining U.S.

tour will begin May 3 in Baltimore. A fan pre-sale begins this

Wednesday, February 15, with the regular on-sale starting Friday,

February 17. Tickets will be available at SlashOnline.com. The itinerary (see below) encompasses three festival appearances: Saturday, May 5 at Carolina Rebellion, Saturday, May 19 at Rock On The Range and Friday, May 25 at Rocklahoma.

Meanwhile, this Saturday, February 18, Slash will join Stevie Wonder, Sean Combs, Chris Cornell, Lenny Kravitz, LL Cool J, Common, Snoop Dogg, former President Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, actors Anthony Hopkins, James Gandolfini and more at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for a 70th birthday celebration to honor boxing legend Muhammad Ali. "Muhammad Ali is and always has been a role model & a hero to me," says Slash. "It's a huge privilege to be able to perform in his honor. He is one of the great icons of American culture and history."

The 16th annual "Power Of Love Gala" celebrates the life and legacy of Muhammad Ali and his contribution to the world and raises awareness for Alzheimer's, Huntington's, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's, the disease "The Champ" has been battling since 1984. Proceeds from the event will

benefit the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health's work

toward enhanced treatments and research of neurocognitive disorders and

the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The show will also

feature appearances from boxing legends such as Sugar Ray Leonard, Ken Norton, Tommy "Hitman" Hearns, and more. Tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime event are on sale now. ABC will also televise the show nationally on Saturday, February 25, at 7 p.m. EST/ 4 p.m. PST.

Slash is currently in a Los Angeles studio working on his new album with Myles Kennedy and THE CONSPIRATORS. It will be released Slash's own label Dik Hayd International distributed through EMI and will follow his 2010 debut album, "Slash", and his November 2011 first-ever live solo album, the two-CD/DVD set "Made In Stoke 24/7/11". Notably, the "Slash" album debuted on The Billboard 200 chart at #3 (#1 on the Rock chart,

#1 on the Independent chart, and #1 on the Hard Music chart). Digitally, the album also became the #1 overall digital album and hit #1 on iTunes in 13 countries. Internationally, the disc achieved Top 5 chart

positions in over a dozen major territories, hitting #1 in both Japan

and New Zealand.

For the new album, Slash — along with and his bandmates Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums) and Todd Kerns (bass) — have teamed with producer Eric Valentine, who also produced the "Slash" disc. All the songs were written together by Slash and Kennedy, and cameras have been rolling throughout the entire making of the album.

Gald to hear they added a Rhythm player as Myles should concentrate on singing.....
