  1. The 2004 list: 467. Guns n’ Roses - Welcome to the Jungle 453. Guns n’ Roses - Paradise City 196. Guns N’ Roses - Sweet Child O’ Mine

  3. He should let Melissa sing the high notes while he harmonizes with her at a lower register Or at his age, there's no shame in downtuning the songs if it keeps him from straining Axl right now is the same age Robert Plant was for the Zeppelin reunion in 2007 - 90% of those songs Plant sang were downtuned and no one cared.
  4. They played the Use Your Illusion Tour at a loss or break-even (at least the GNR/Metallica leg) because they wanted to keep ticket prices affordable That's why UYI never shows up on "highest grossing tour" lists

  6. "America is full of white people who have never been told 'no' in their entire adult lives, and they interpret being asked to sacrifice for the greater good as an act of violence. Their feeble minds consider selfishness as 'freedom', and that ignorance will be the death of them and their rapidly collapsing country."
  7. If Axl had anything to say through his music in the past 25 years beyond "my wife left me and I am sad" and "my band left me but it's not my fault", we would have heard it by now The album was only released in 2008 because Baz got him hooked on coke again and he suddenly had "youthful energy". It's like what Richard Pryor told someone after getting clean from drugs - "I'm afraid of performing again because I'm not sure if it was me or the drugs that made me good". Axl went off the rails from 96-99 and harnessed his anger to make some decent tunes. Now he's old and fat and heavily medicated for his myriad of mental issues. So do you want him to go back on hard drugs so we have a couple good years of creativity and then the guy's heart explodes? Or should we be happy with Elvis Plays the Hits? I'd rather he just retire.
  8. Sorry, sorry ABSURD ABSURD ABSURD ABSURD ABSURD ABSURD
  9. If Axl really wanted to ditch the chorus so bad, he still could have kept the structure of the demo and did something like:
  10. If they re-recorded "Perhaps" with modern production, and hired good actors to star in the video, that could be a hit No one wants to see Fat Axl re-enacting his breakup with Stephanie Seymour on film 30 years after the fact
